Story
Narration
“Sharp, funny and angry in all the right places. Miranda Raison nails Elizabeth Zott's deadpan.”
The story, without spoilers
In early 1960s California, chemist Elizabeth Zott is pushed out of her lab and ends up hosting a television cooking show, which she treats as a chemistry lesson. Her audience of housewives starts to listen.
The narration
Raison balances the comedy and the darker moments with ease, and her voice for Six Thirty, the family dog, is a small delight.
You will love it if
